About me

Greetings! And welcome to our jewelry haven that is Jewelryholic!

My name is Daniel Rangel, an aspiring jewelry designer from Mexico with a passion for everything creative.

Being able to inspire others through my work has always been my objective. I come from a working-class family that desired nothing but the best for their two kids. The hopes of making my parents, sister, wife, and family proud is what inspires me to strive to overcome any obstacle that comes my way.

Since childhood I have been involved in all sorts of creative activities, my mind never ceased to create and urge me to share with friends and family the ideas I come up with every single day. From drawing to playing piano, from playing soccer to teaching English and finishing my major in the language, from studying music to studying programming, from cleaning a factory as a part-time job in high school to selling high-end jewelry as a sales manager in a jewelry store.

I strongly believe in the power of transmitting emotions through designs; in creating art and representing culture through shapes, materials and colors that result in unique, stunning pieces of jewelry that last a lifetime and can be passed down from generation to generation.

Even though the world is connected now more than ever, there is a lack of understanding and empathy throughout cultures. We all share beliefs, we all hope to inspire others in a way or another and, just like music, jewelry is universal throughout our civilization.

Jewelryholic was created to promote the jewelry culture. More importantly, the culture of art and design that is often misrepresented in the form of generic jewelry. Out of the hundreds of thousands of pieces, only a few capture the intensity and passion of the designer and end up as just another accessory in the jewelry box.

By providing jewelry knowledge and sharing important insights from me and people who have worked in the industry for a number of years, the intention is to broaden people’s horizons and help them see the side of jewelry only a few selected group get to see, the artistic and cultural side.

There is a reason behind every action we take, either conscious or unconscious. I want you to know what you buy in that piece of jewelry and be able to explain why you bought it to your family or friends.

Jewelryholic is a haven for you, whether you want to know about jewelry, or learn to shop for jewelry; this is the place that will inspire you to find the perfect piece, every time.
